Alot has changed over the past year, but you are still the best husband and father we could ask for!

Our Boy is ONE!

He's a walkin', talkin' machine!

Lewis started walking about one week before his birthday and now is just cruising! He is so proud of himself and is happy just walking around the house singing to himself. He's particularly fond of carrying large and/or heavy items -- just because he can =)

He now has a handful of words and a bunch of signs. Being able to understand what he wants (at least every once in a while) makes being Mom so much easier.

Lewis loves to dance and sing to music, play outside (rocks are the best!), watch cars/buses/trucks, play with friends and read books. His favorite toy right now is an old cell phone. He carries it around, dialing numbers and saying "Hi" to whomever he's calling. He can make pretty much anything into a phone these days -- rocks, shoes, cars, you name it.

Lewis does NOT like being told no, having things taken away from him or drinking milk from a sippy cup. I'm seeing the Toddler start to peek through and I'm already missing my baby!

Not so sure about the birthday candle...

Lewis's birthday fell on Father's Day this year and we were lucky enough to have Pete and both Grandpas all together for the weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day was filled with beautiful weather, fun times with family and good food.

Lewis enjoyed his first splash in Grandma and Poppy's Baby Pool.

Lew also had his first taste of Grandma's famous spaghetti sauce -- he LOVED it!

But the best part, was getting to watch Lewis and his cousin Andy get to know each other.

Lewis spent alot of time just watching his big cousin Andy (who is about 7 months older) and after just a few hours, Lewis was already saying "Andy."
